CSI La Hacienda is an engaging 360-degree live team-building activity in which teams sharpen their collaborative decision-making and reasoning abilities. The teams work directly together to solve the mystery of Roberto Gonzalez's death in his Hacienda. Using a well-prepared detective briefcase, live evidence, and an online 360-degree virtual tour platform, teams explore the Hacienda to solve the González family's mystery of Hacienda. The game app gives teams quizzes and challenges. Teams enter their answers into the game app. Their solutions unlock clues that will help them solve the mystery. As they move through each of the Hacienda's rooms, they find items that aid them in their quest. When they start, the teams use deductive reasoning and group consensus to eliminate suspects. The team that correctly answers the quizzes and challenges the fastest will find the truth and win the overall game.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
CSI La Hacienda participants use keen observation to gather information. Using effective communication, they passed on their findings to the team. Critical thinking and reflection will help teams analyze and interpret events. To reach a consensus, groups must use deductive reasoning and debate as they address individual interpretations and conflicting opinions. Under time pressure, mystery-solving teams will use divergent thinking in collaborative decision-making. This live team building game challenges and builds trust and team unity.
