Mettler Toledo, a multinational leader in precision instruments and services, was looking to strengthen integration and alignment across teams from different areas of the business.

In a year shaped by the global excitement of the FIFA World Cup, the organisation saw an opportunity to leverage football's universal language to bring key teamwork principles to life in an engaging and relatable way.

To support this objective, Mettler Toledo partnered with Conquistar, Catalyst Global’s partner in Brazil, to deliver GOALL! — a football-inspired team-building experience designed to simulate the dynamics of high-performing teams.

The challenge was to create an experience that would:

• Strengthen collaboration and communication across functions
• Encourage alignment under pressure and constant change
• Translate teamwork concepts into practical, memorable learning

Program Objectives

Program Design & Delivery

Activity: GOALL!! (a Catalyst Global partner product created by Conquistar, Catalyst Brazil)
Participants: 140 employees
Format: Football-inspired, interactive team simulation

First, participants were divided into teams and immersed in a fast-paced environment where they had to organise quickly, define roles, and adapt to constant changes — just like a team on the field.

The experience combined competition and collaboration, requiring teams to think strategically, communicate clearly, and make decisions under pressure.

Ultimately, what began as a game quickly evolved into a powerful reflection of workplace dynamics, where success depended not on individual performance but on alignment and teamwork.
