Give Santa Sack brings teams together for festive fun with a meaningful purpose. Working in teams, participants complete a range of Christmas-themed challenges to unlock gifts and essential items to fill their Santa Sack, which is donated through a local charity partner to support disadvantaged families.
Using an iPad, teams choose which challenges to tackle and in what order. With a mix of mental, physical and creative tasks, success relies on good communication, smart decision making and making the most of the different strengths within the team.
As teams progress, they collect items for their Santa Sack while competing to earn as many points as possible. The experience finishes with the completed sacks coming together for donation, turning a fun Christmas team building activity into a positive contribution to the local community.
Give Santa Sack can be delivered as a standalone corporate Christmas team building event or as part of a wider conference, team day or end-of-year celebration.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Give Santa Sack encourages teams to communicate, collaborate and make decisions together in a fast-paced and engaging environment. The variety of mental, physical and creative challenges gives different people opportunities to contribute, helping participants recognise and appreciate the skills and strengths of those around them.
As teams decide how to approach the challenges, they practise delegation, problem-solving and working towards a shared goal. The competitive gameplay creates energy and engagement, while the charitable outcome adds a deeper sense of purpose.
By the end of the experience, participants have shared more than just some festive fun. They leave with stronger connections, a sense of collective achievement and the knowledge that their teamwork has helped make a positive difference to others. This is very close to the intended emotional outcome in the original concept: connection, positivity, stronger relationships, festive joy and purpose.
