Be Challenged Australia Appoints Lisa Kelliher as CEO

Lisa Kelliher takes the helm at Be Challenged Australia, bringing leadership expertise and a passion for team development.

A New Chapter for Be Challenged

We’re excited to share some big news from one of our long-standing partners. Be Challenged, a leading provider of interactive team development programmes and Catalyst's exclusive Australian partner, has appointed Lisa Kelliher as the new Chief Executive Officer. This is a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing growth and innovation journey.

From Education to Team Development

Lisa stepped into the CEO role following an internal promotion, recognising her contribution since joining Be Challenged in 2022 as Head of People and Culture. Over the past three years, she has led efforts to evolve the company’s approach to team development and strengthen client relationships.

Before moving into the team-building industry, Lisa built a successful leadership career in education. She previously served as Deputy Principal at International Grammar School. She also held key teaching and advisory roles at Roseville College, Knox Grammar School, and the NSW Education Standards.

I am honoured and excited to have the opportunity to lead Be Challenged into this next exciting phase of development and growth, where we fulfil our intention to be recognised as agile and forward-thinking leaders in team development.

These skills are more important than ever in today’s work environments.

Upcoming Keynote: Leading with Warmth and Strength

Looking ahead, Lisa continues to share her leadership insights beyond the business. She believes today’s leaders must balance empathy with strength to foster support and performance. In a time where emotional intelligence is essential, she encourages leadership styles that build trust, promote psychological safety, and drive accountability.

Lisa will explore these ideas during her upcoming keynote, "Leading with Warmth and Strength". She will present it at Events Uncovered on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at ILUMINA in Sydney.

Let’s celebrate this exciting new chapter. Congratulations to Lisa Kelliher and the entire Be Challenged Australia team on their continued growth and impact.
