Polkomtel (Plus), a leading Polish telecommunications company, was undergoing a major strategic transformation with the launch of its new flagship product, Plus Fibre and needed an AI-powered team building experience for internal communication that could work effectively at scale.
To support this transformation, Polkomtel (Plus) partnered with Catalyst Poland to design and deliver an engaging, large-scale experience that would bring the Plus Fibre message to life internally.
The challenge was to embed this strategic message across multiple departments in a way that felt engaging, human, and memorable — not like another top-down communication initiative.
The client was looking for a format that would:
- Encourage employees to talk about change in their own words
- Support internal communication through storytelling rather than presentations
- Introduce practical AI tools already shaping everyday work, without overwhelming participants
Program Objectives
- Internal communication at scale
Translate the strategic importance of Plus Fibre into creative, easy-to-remember stories, ensuring every team clearly referenced the product or its core theme.

Use the familiar language of cinema to spark emotional involvement. Teams worked within clearly defined film genres (Action, Horror, Romance, Fairy Tale), committing fully to their conventions while weaving in the fibre message.
- Confident, hands-on AI exposure
Provide a light-touch introduction to accessible AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva Pro, ElevenLabs), carefully calibrated so participants felt curious and empowered — not intimidated.
Program Design & Delivery
- Activity: BlockBusters AI
- Participants: 300+ employees
- Structure: 3 parallel sessions of ~100 participants, representing different departments
- Format: 1-minute movie trailers created using a predefined iMovie template
AI tools used:
- ChatGPT – scripting and storytelling support
- ElevenLabs – short voiceovers
- Canva Pro – visuals, green-screen effects, and graphics
To keep the experience fast-paced and manageable for a large audience, teams produced short trailers rather than full films, ensuring focus, momentum, and clarity.
A remote professional editor applied light finishing touches (audio syncing and selective effects), significantly elevating production quality without adding complexity for participants.
